Surrounding Tajin there are several schools for Papantla flyers attended by Dana, Said, Jairo and Sarahí, four children that show us the magic of this totonaca dance. While they are prepared to become flyers, they will take us on a journey through the legends that tell us how new generations can fly and save the region from drought. In order to fly, they must confront their fears, be disciplined and keep dreaming.

Jennifer Skarbnik

Productora en línea de la animación

"For me, Trazos del Cielo project showed the importance of the roots and family foundation of
every human being, and that patience is a tool that is quite required to carry out a project with
heart, soul, and courage”.

Ana Acosta

Cinematographer

"Chantal contributed her photographic perspective and her willingness to tackle any production needs we had in the project. She says that when they flew, we also fly”.

Chantal Carrillo

Additional Footage (Second Camera)

"The director's vision proposes something out of the conventional artistically speaking. For the team, Trazos del Cielo was a great opportunity to test their artistic abilities. We loved the story and we are proud to be part of this great production Personally, it was a great step in my career that other productions began to seriously consider us as a studio and give us the opportunity to show our capabilities. It feels very good that as a woman they give you a serious place within the industry".

Adriana Cid

Mokiki Animation Studio CEO, Coproducer Studio

"It was not only a project that taught me a lot through the message it conveys, but it was also an incredible collaboration with passionate people. Being a technically ambitious documentary, it was a whole experience to face daily challenges, but we couldn´t  have achieved it without such a dedicated and talented team I had the fortune to work with”.
